Managing the club's subscription
Updated on 27 October 2026
What the subscription page shows, how to subscribe to a plan and what happens when the subscription lapses.
On this page · 2 sections
The subscription belongs to the club, not to whoever paid for it, so it lives in the club's settings: in Settings › Subscription, in the "Administration" group. What the page shows depends on whether the club already has a subscription.
If the club has no subscription yet
The page only shows the "Club subscription", with the message "The club doesn't have an active subscription yet. Choose a plan to get started." Nothing is locked: the club keeps working normally.
- If the plan is already available, choose between "Monthly" and "Yearly" and select "Subscribe monthly" or "Subscribe yearly". If you see "This plan isn't available for subscription yet.", there is nothing to do for now.
- Payment is handled by Stripe. Have the club's tax number to hand: it is required, because the invoice is issued with it. Before paying, you also need to accept the Terms of Service. When you come back, the subscription shows up on the page as soon as the payment is confirmed.
- Prices are VAT exempt under Article 53 of the Portuguese VAT Code.
When the club has a subscription
- The status, at the top: for example "Active subscription", with the plan, the price and the date it renews or ends. During the free trial, the status is "Free trial" and a strip at the top of the app shows how many days are left. If you subscribe during the free trial, you keep the days you have left: you are not charged until it ends. A subscription granted by Cantera does not issue invoices.
- "What's included": the modules the club is entitled to and where each one comes from: "Always included", "In the plan", "Extra" or "Beta".
- "Payment method" and "Invoices", on a paid subscription. You change the card with "Manage in billing portal", and each invoice has "Download PDF". "Manage plan and payments" opens the billing portal.
