Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files we store in your browser. We also use localStorage for the same kind of purpose — storing preferences and keeping state between pages. This policy treats both together. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not share your browsing data with third parties for that purpose.

2. How we use cookies

We group cookies into four categories, based on their purpose:

Essential: required for the platform to work (authentication, security, language).
Functional: enable specific features, such as paying a club note or subscription, through Stripe.
Analytics: help us understand how the site is used — they are opt-in.
Marketing: used to measure campaigns — whenever present, they are opt-in.

You can accept, reject or adjust each category at any time.

Analytics

We use three tools. Vercel Web Analytics counts visits and pages in aggregate and Vercel Speed Insights measures how quickly pages load, both without cookies and without permanent identifiers, and they only load once you accept this category. Google Analytics 4 measures audiences and site journeys: accepting stores the cookies listed below; declining still sends an anonymous, cookieless signal, which does not identify you and is not used for advertising. Measurement covers the public site and also the application once you are signed in; in both cases page paths are reduced to signatures carrying no identifiers before anything is sent. Declining does not affect how the platform works.

Marketing

We don't use any marketing cookies today. If that changes, we'll update this list and ask for your consent again.

We don't use marketing cookies at the moment.

4. Other storage on your device

When a visit arrives through a campaign link, we store that link’s parameters (utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign) in sessionStorage, under the key cantera.utm. They serve a single purpose: if the visit ends in a club application, they fill three fields of that form so we can tell which channels bring clubs in. This is information the link itself carries, it dies when the tab is closed, it identifies nobody, it is not shared with third parties and it is not used to follow the visitor across other sites. It is deliberately absent from the categories above: it is not indispensable to running the platform, but neither is it subject to analytics consent — which would cause an application to be submitted with its origin blank without anyone knowing why.

5. Your choices

You can review or change your choices at any time by clicking Manage preferences at the top of this page or in the Settings tab of your account. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their own settings — but blocking essential cookies may break the platform.

6. Changes to this policy

Whenever we add or remove a category, we'll ask for your consent again automatically. For wording-only changes, we'll update the «last updated» date at the top of this page.
