Marking training attendance in Coach Mode

Updated on 23 October 2026

On this page · 3 sections

In Coach Mode, attendance takes one tap per athlete and each tap is saved straight away, with no save button. You open the session from Today or from the Calendar.

Marking attendance

  1. Open the session. At the top you see whether it's "Open" or "Closed" and how many athletes are still to mark.
  2. For each athlete, tap "Present", "Excused" or "Unexcused".
  3. For any other status, open "More statuses" and choose "Conditioned", "Injured (absent)", "Discipline (absent)", "Excused" or "No information".

While a tap is being saved, the header shows "Not saved yet…".

Arrival, departure and notes can't be edited on the phone, but whatever was typed on a computer is kept.

Athletes from another age group

  1. Tap "Add" (or "Add athlete from another age group", if the list is empty).
  2. Search by name, with at least 2 letters, and tick the athletes who came to the session.
  3. Tap "Add" to put them on the list.

They come in with their age group next to their name and on "No information", and are saved straight away in this session's attendance. Mark their status like everyone else's.

Closing and reopening the session

  1. At the end of the list, read the note: "You can close the training.", or how many athletes are left without information.
  2. Tap "Close training".
  3. If any athletes are still on "No information", confirm in "Close the training?": the session closes anyway and they stay without information.

With read-only access you see the list, but the screen says "You only have read access." and the buttons don't appear.
