Building the training plan: team talk, moments and exercises

Updated on 23 October 2026

On this page · 6 sections

The training plan lives on each training's page, on the "Planning" tab. It brings together the team talk and the exercises in three moments, "Warm-up", "Main phase" and "Cool-down", and keeps adding up the session's time.

The plan card

At the top, the "Training plan" card shows the training's "Date", "Time" and "Volume" (its length in minutes), plus the "Microcycle", "Mesocycle" and "Period". These come from the training's date and the team's annual plan; they are not edited here and show a dash if the team has no annual plan.

You fill in "Players", "Material", "General objectives" and "Specific objectives". Each field saves on its own when you leave it: the card's indicator goes from "Not saved yet" to "Plan updated".

The team talk

In the "Team talk" card, write the "Content" and the "Planned time" in minutes. The team talk is not a moment and takes no exercises, but its minutes count towards the session's time.

Add exercises

  1. Select "Add here" on the moment you want to fill, or "Add exercise", which starts on "Main phase".
  2. In "Destination", check the moment. Each exercise you pick keeps the destination selected at that point, so you can fill several moments in one go.
  3. Pick the folder on the left and tick the exercises. Use "Search exercise…" to find one by name within the open folder.
  4. Select "Add".

Each exercise comes in as a copy: change it as you like without touching the library exercise. The copy brings the exercise's time, which counts towards the moment's minutes.

Arrange the exercises

  • Change the order or the moment: drag the exercise within its moment or to another one. Both moments' minutes update straight away.
  • Edit the copy: select "Edit", change the texts, the time and the load components and select "Save". The tactical scheme has its own editor: "Edit drawing" (or "Draw", if it has none yet) opens it and the drawing is saved there, with "Save" in the editor. Save the texts before opening the drawing, because opening it leaves the form.
  • See the original: "View original" opens the library exercise it came from, as long as it still exists.
  • Remove: "Remove" takes the exercise out of this plan. The library exercise stays as it was. If this copy was shared on the Portal, the confirmation says with how many teams and athletes, and the share goes with it.
  • Share on the Portal: with the Portal module, "Share" opens "Share on the Portal" with the training's team already chosen. You share this copy, for the active season only, and who sees it follows the same rules as sharing from the library.

Time distribution

The "Time distribution" card adds up the team talk and the exercises' times and compares them with the training's volume: it says how many minutes are assigned, how many are free or how many go over. An exercise with no time counts as zero, and the card tells you how many there are.

Print and attach documents

  • Print: "Print Training Plan" produces the sheet with the card, the team talk and each moment's exercises.
  • Documents: on the "Documents" tab, select "Add document" and choose a PDF, JPEG or PNG of up to 8 MB. The document takes the file's name; you can preview, download or delete it, and deleting cannot be undone.
