Installing the Cantera app on your phone (Android and iPhone)

Install Cantera on your phone's home screen to open it like an app, full screen. The same app covers management, Coach Mode and the Portal.

Cantera installs from the browser, with no app store. You get an icon on the home screen, it opens full screen and works like an app. It's a single app for management, Coach Mode and the Portal: when you open it, you go to the area your account and this device point to.
On Android (Chrome)
- Open Cantera in Chrome and sign in.
- When "Install Cantera" appears, tap "Install" and confirm.
If you tapped "Not now", the invitation stops appearing in this browser, but you can install at any time:
- in Coach Mode, under More › "Install the app";
- in management, under Preferences › "App" › "Install app".
If Chrome no longer offers the install, "Install the app" tells you the way: open the browser menu (⋮) and choose "Install app" or "Add to Home screen".
On iPhone or iPad (Safari)
- Open Cantera in Safari.
- Tap the Share button.
- Choose "Add to Home Screen" and confirm.
On iPhone, "Install the app" and Preferences show these same instructions, because Safari has no install button.
Shortcuts
On Android, press and hold the Cantera icon to see three shortcuts: "Club management", "Coach Mode" and "Portal". Each one opens that area, if your account has access to it, without changing the area the app opens in by default.
If installing isn't available in this browser, Preferences suggest opening Cantera in Chrome or Edge.
