Income categories and products
Updated on 22 October 2026
What the club charges for: income categories and, inside them, products with a price, periodicity and VAT.
On this page · 2 sections
Before you charge a monthly fee, a membership fee or a registration, the club needs to know what it charges for. This is organised on two levels: the income category, for example Athlete monthly fees, which belongs to a rubric; and the products inside it, for example Youth monthly fee, each with its own price.
Create a category
- Open Financial management › Income and select "New category".
- Choose the "Rubric". Only active income rubrics appear.
- Enter the "Title" and, if you like, a "Description".
- Select "Save".
Create a product
- In the list, open the category and, under "Products", select "New product".
- Enter the "Title" and the "Code". The code has 3 to 12 characters, with at least 2 letters, and cannot be repeated within the club. "Suggest" proposes the next one based on the codes you have already used.
- Choose the "Type" and the "Unit of measure".
- In "Payment periodicity", choose Monthly, Quarterly, Biannual or Annual for a recurring charge, such as the monthly fee. For a one-off charge, such as registration, leave "No period".
- Enter the "Price" and the "Tax". Switch on "Price includes VAT" if the tax is already in the amount; when it is off, VAT is added to the price.
- Select "Save".
The product's price is the suggested amount: each launch series can use a different one. A product without a periodicity cannot be launched in a series.
