Creating and activating seasons

The season is the club's sporting year. Only one is active at a time, and it is the one the schedule, teams and squads open by default.

Creating a season

1. Open Settings › Seasons.
2. Select "New season".
3. Enter the "Name", for example Season 2027/2028. It cannot repeat the name of another season.
4. Enter the "Start date" and "End date". They are optional, but each team's season record takes its dates from them.
5. Select "Save".

If its start date is still to come, the season shows in the list as "Upcoming"; with no dates, as "No dates"; and once the start date has passed, as "In progress". A season never activates itself when its start date arrives: you activate it.

Activating a season

On the season's row, select "Activate". The change is immediate: the season that was active stops being so, and the new one becomes the one the app opens by default.

Preparing the next season

1. Create the next season before it starts, with its dates.
2. In Teams, choose the new season under "Season" and create each team's season record.
3. When you want the new season to be the one the app opens by default, select "Activate".
