Adding opponents

Opponents are the clubs your team plays against. You pick an opponent for each match and add opponents to competitions, so it helps to add them before you build the schedule.

1. Open Settings › Opponents, in the "Relations" group.
2. Select "Add".
3. If you like, add their crest with "Add crest". A PNG with a transparent background looks best.
4. Enter the "Name", the short name shown on matches. You can add the "Abbreviation" and the "Full name" too.
5. Under "Modalities", choose the modalities in which you play this club. The name and the modalities are the two required fields.
6. Under "Default match venue", choose the sports hall where the opponent usually plays at home. The list only shows match venues for the chosen modalities.
7. Select "Save".

When you schedule an away match against this opponent, the default venue is suggested as the match venue. In a match, the opponent only appears in the choices if it is active and belongs to the team's modality.
