Athlete pre-registrations through the public form

Families and athletes fill in the pre-registration on a public club form, without a Cantera account. Each request waits in an inbox for your decision, and nothing enters the club until you accept it.

Share the form

  1. Open Athletes and select "Share form".
  2. Under "Form to share", check that "Athletes" is selected.
  3. Select "Copy" next to the "Form link" and send it however you like, or use the QR code: "Download PNG" saves the image and "Print poster" prepares a poster for the sports hall.

The form asks for personal details, an identity document and a photo. When the date of birth shows a minor, the guardian part, with the same files, becomes required.

Review pre-registrations

  1. In Athletes, select "Pre-registrations". The number next to it counts those still to be decided.
  2. The inbox lists each request with the status "Pending", "Accepted" or "Declined". Filter by status, year of birth or submission date.
  3. Open a pre-registration to see all the details and the files sent.

Accept

  1. On the pre-registration, select "Accept".
  2. Under "Enrolment information", choose the "Sport", the "Season" and the "Team" and, if you wish, the "Enrolment date".
  3. Check the athlete's details. They come from the form; only correct what needs correcting.
  4. If the pre-registration includes a guardian (it always does for a minor), under "Guardian" choose the "Relationship" and then "Existing member", to link someone already in the club, or "New member", to create the guardian from the form details.
  5. Select "Accept".

On acceptance, the athlete is created as a member with an athlete profile, enrolled in the chosen team and linked to the guardian. The document sent moves to the record and, for a new member, so does the photo. The athlete's record opens next. The person who submitted the form does not receive any email.

Reject or delete

  • "Reject" marks the request as "Declined". You can write a "Reason (optional)", which is kept on the pre-registration. The person who submitted it does not receive any email.
  • "Delete" removes the pre-registration for good, with no way to undo it. On a pending or declined pre-registration it also deletes the files sent; on an accepted one, the athlete, the photo and the document stay in the club.
